Go Bananas Dancing LLC started as a school enrichment program. Ms. Susannah taught Creative Movement and Pre-Ballet in local preschools. Soon she became a contractor for Arlington County Parks and Recreation in Virginia. Through that great partnership and partnerships with the Recreation Departments in the cities of Falls Church and Alexandria, Go Bananas Dancing has gotten to grow and provide over 40 dance classes per week!
The dance styles we teach include playful classes for boys and girls ages 2 and 3 (with accompanying adult), Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, Jazz and Musical Theater. Our Ballet program for young children gives them the opportunity to try out Ballet in a welcoming, non-competitive environment that lets kids truly experience the JOY OF DANCE!
At Go Bananas Dancing, we cherish our community's diversity. In our dance classes, everyone is treated fairly and equally. We believe in inclusion for everyone. Always have, always will. If you have special needs, you are welcome in our classes. We have a close relationship with the Therapeutic Recreation department in Arlington.
